Products
The Erago Home online store provides you with information on the composition of all items. This information is available on the details page of each product.
COTTON/LINEN
Natural fiber of plant origin, resistant and comfortable.
It can be washed in the washing machine at a medium temperature with any type of detergent. Bleaching agents can be used on whites, but never on colors.
You can tumble dry it at a medium temperature.
Since cotton is not elastic, after drying it may become wrinkled and it will need to be ironed at a high temperature to return it to its original shape.
THERE
Natural fiber of animal origin, flexible and pleasant to the touch.
To preserve your woolen garments, you should hang them on padded hangers, with the pockets empty, with the buttons/zip fastened and without a belt, if applicable.
It is a fiber that is very sensitive to heat, so it should be dry-cleaned or washed by hand in cold water, as it may shrink when machine washed.
Do not use bleach on woollen garments as this destroys the fibre. Air dry the garments, preferably lying down and never hanging, and iron them on the “WOOL” setting while they are still slightly damp.
With washing, it may gradually lose its color and softness.
SILK
Natural fiber of animal origin, light and resistant.
Silk is very reactive to chemicals (deodorants, perfumes, etc.) and high temperatures; therefore, silk garments should be hand washed or cleaned by professionals.
Do not use a tumble dryer or steam iron.
VISCOSE
Artificial fiber of cellulose origin, soft and fresh.
This fiber loses some of its strength when damp and cannot withstand high temperatures during machine washing or ironing. It is recommended that it be washed by hand. Do not subject the garment to excessive twisting to eliminate excess water and always air dry it, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight.
Ironing should be done inside out, placing some type of protection between the garment and the iron at a maximum temperature of 110ºC.
It is important to note that the raw material is unstable and may shrink or expand if not washed according to the washing instructions. However, it normally returns to its natural state if hung for 1/2 days.
This type of conservation is also valid for articles with a mixture of viscose, lyocell and modal, for example.
POLYAMIDE/ POLYESTER AND ACRYLICS
These are synthetic fibers, whose main characteristics are high durability and residual deformation.
It is always advisable to wash by hand, especially if you are dealing with knitted items, in order to increase the lifespan of the item, however these types of items can be washed in the washing machine at a medium temperature. Try to use fabric softener as a rule, in order to reduce the possible static electricity characteristic of materials such as polyester.
You can tumble dry on a low heat to remove excess water, but the rest of the drying should be done in the air. This will help the item maintain its original shape and prevent it from becoming wrinkled.
If you still need to iron, use low temperatures.
POLYPROPYLENE
Polypropylene (PP) is a polymer, more precisely a thermoplastic - molded using only heating - derived from propene or propylene (plastic) and recyclable.
PP products are dyed with materials that prevent the colors from fading or becoming faded. In addition, they are very resistant to stains, which can be easily cleaned using just water and a good neutral detergent.
Please follow the washing instructions indicated on the item.
